Well. I needed to give a general description of the area of Troys territory

Wolves usually have packs from 3 to 16 wolves (atleast in norway they do) And only the Alpha pair breed. For those of you who wonder why about that, its generally because of simple reasons. not only do they want the strongest genes to live on, but they think practical. The more pups, the more mouths to feed. And winters are hard, pray is dangerous. A moose in Norway (the wolf natural pray here) is big, has big horns and heavy hoofs. When a pack attacks a moose, it actually has a big chance of killing, or severely hurting at least one or two of them. And a wolf can consume *alot* of food very fast. Its not without reason there is a saying called 'Hungry as the wolf'
7 wolves eat fast and alot. This means they have to hunt big game often. And with tons of puppies to feed also, it simply is to little. The survival rate of puppies the first year is 10-30 % Which is not much. Of 10 cubs, one to three might survive.
The alpha will also only breed if the food is rich and game is fair.
A female goes pregnant 63 days, and have from 3-7 puppies. Four is the most common.

The pack must stay together to live. Simply as that. The less adult wolves there are in a pack, the less the chanse of survival. Its the way of the wild. A stray  cannot hunt bigger pray, and can survive on smaller animals for a while, but strays have a hard life which are usually very short.

it differs a bit from Wolf type to wolf type of course, I know Arctic wolves act a bit differently, but its mostly the same.

So if One wolf suddenly approach Troy and kiss him on the corner of his mouth, it does not mean he is gay. It is a greeting of honor to the Alpha of the pack.

I suggest you all read thought that page, then its allot easier to understand the body language of the wolf you play, an it gives you alot more real experience while playing.

Remember, real wolves cant speak. They communicate through body language, so do our werewolves, even thought they also speak.


Even though your character is a bitten wolf, does not mean that you don't get instincts. There is no difference between the bitten\paw-print\ born wolves, except experience and time being a wolf.

From the first change your char will have the basic wolf instincts locked inside. After all, you have a 'beast' inside your head at all times.
So please *Please* read up on the wolf pack behaviour I have previously posted. its not really that hard to read. It takes you two minutes top. And if you don't have time reading it, then you don't have time rp'ing either.

So pull your chars out of the human realm and into the wolf realm. Read up a bit about wolves. Post a comment to this post to show you have read it. Read up abit about the area they live in, the way people acted in that period of time. its not so hard, and if you have any questions about 1800 Norway\wolves\nobility\folklore, ask me, I am after all born Norwegian, and I live close by where the rp setting is placed.

I know this is an AU game, but even thought we don't follow the historic events completely, we still follow the basic settings.

1. First of, this rp may contain gay\bisexual\lesbiann\hetrosexual content. if you don't like it or agree with it then this is not the community for you.

2. Due to the fact that there is Mature content on this site, ALL RP logs with the rating R and higher are to be put behind a friends lock.

3. STAY IN CHARACTER!!!! This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Only take on character you know you will be able to pull off. Don't pick a character simply because you like them. Pick one that will fit your RPing needs and style.

4. I will not tolerate drama between the players of any kind. Drama between the character's is fine, just don't let it effect you OOC. I have seen the dark side of this and will not put up with it. So please, everyone just get along.

5. NO GODMODDING. Unless of course you have another players permission to do so.

6. Character limit: 5 for now, more if you should enought activity.

7. You MUST stick to the background you provided for your character. You may not change or add anything without the mods' permission. unless, of course, it's something small like a sensitive area on the body or a pet peeve or such.

8. There are character tags for a reason. Please use them. I find it very annoying when I have to go back and tag entry upon entry.

9. When Applying please put the name of your character in the subject so I know you have read the rules.

10. All logs after the who,what, where, etc MUST be placed under an lj-cut.

11. Please respect your fellow RPers. Keep in mind that most of them have RL stuff going.

12. If You are going on Hiatus or going to be dropping a character you <u><b>must</u></b> let the mods know before you do so. Once we give the go ahead (which will more than likely the case most times) post an entry on the OOC comm letting the other players know.

13. If you are MIA for four weeks without telling me then we will automatically remove your character from the Taken Character list without notification and will be taken out of the storyline in any way the mods see fit. If you come back and want to continue playing that character, then you may reapply. Also, just because you are active with one character and not active with another for that time frame, doesn't mean the inactive character won't be removed.

14. You must post an entry at least once a month on the logging comm (whether it's a comment or a new log). If you can't for whatever good RL reason post for a month just drop me a line to let us know.

15. NPC's can be used, with limitations.

16. ABOSULTELY NO YIFF!!! If you don't know what Yiff is, that's probably a good thing. (no sex between character's in their half and half or full wolf form.) AS some of you may already know, LiveJournal has cracked the whip on what they deem to inappropriate. Many journals and Comms have been deleted because of this. So as we want this comm to last, we have placed the 'No Yiff' rule.

18. Do not high jack logs. If you're character is not listed in the log under WHO or under the tags or if the log does not specify that it is open; unless you have permission to do so by the people in the log, please do not post in that log.

19. To the best of your ability, please RP with proper Grammar and spelling. There are some exceptions, such as English not being your first language.

20. This is a multifandom rpg, but with some limits. I mean, its a werewolf game. You can come with Superman, but his powers will be severly cut, and he will be hurtable.

1. First off, this comm is based more on the lore of Werewolves. It is not based on other RPG’s such as White Wolf. To brush up on your lore you can visit here.

2. No superhuman strength. Sure, werewolves are stronger than humans but let’s not get ridiculous. Your character won’t be able to lift a huge bolder of a rock above their heads like it was nothing, or rip a tree out of the ground.

3. You are not invincible. If you are injured you can’t just immediately heal. It will take some time, although you do heal quicker than humans. Depending on what the moon cycle is also helps. If it close to the full moon, healing is even quicker.

4. The werewolf has three forms; human, half and half and full wolf. Human: I really don’t I need to describe to you what a human looks like. At least I hope I don’t. Half and Half: Although this form has some human characteristics such as; two legs, two arms, the body and torso still very human. The half and half form is cover with fur, has a tail and the head of the wolf. Their legs more resemble that of a wolf’s hind legs and their fingers, although still mostly long, resemble more the toes of a wolf’s paw. Full Wolf: Again, I don’t think this needs a description. This is when the werewolf looks like any other wolf in the forest. To human, he/she is. But to other wolves and werewolves, they know better.

5. On to Pack Social Structure!!! Of course, there is only one Alpha Male and Alpha Female. Only these are members of the pack that can seek others to reproduce. Once a Werewolf has found a mate, they stay with said mate for life. If the mate is killed or outcast, the surviving mate will never have another one for the rest of its life. Like actual wolves, the werewolf uses violence for dominance. The lowest Ranking is the Omega wolf. This will be the one all others dominate and rough up. But even thought the omega wolf gets harsh treatment, it will still remain with the pack, mostly because Pack means survival. There is no way a lone wolf can survive for long alone. At least not during winter. In large packs full of easygoing wolves or in a group of juvenile wolves, rank order may shift almost constantly, or even be circular (for instance, animal A dominates animal B, who dominates animal C, who dominates animal D).

6. So, how did your character become a werewolf? Well, there are many different ways, but we're only going to focus on three. One is the stereotypical way of changing; being bitten. This means that you have to bitten by a werewolf, not just any run of the mill wolf. The second way is to drink from a body of water that a wolf (werewolf or otherwise) has stepped in. This has to be done by the light of the fullmoon (the drinking and the wolf stepping in the water.) And the third option, is to be born a werewolf.

7. Okay. So how does your character transform? Again there are a few different ways. One, of course, is by the light of the full moon. All Werewolves will transform during this time, whether they have control over their transformations or not. Another way is (as mentioned in the first way) having control over when you do. This power usually belongs to the stronger wolves, to be able to control it completely (with the exception of the full moon.). Younger and weaker wolves can control it somewhat. Though when they get frightened and feel threatened they will transform automatically.

8: YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A WEREWOLF. We actually need other types of chars too. OC's are very welcome,  but dont Mary-sue them. But I do prefer to get a steady two packs up before I get overrun with humans\aliens whatnot.

9: If not born in the pack, how do I get there? Simple. You wake up in the middle of the forest. Last thing you remember, was being home\travling\whatever your char normally do. Then blackness, then there.
